Great breathability is achieved through an advanced waterproof/breathable coating on the inside of the jacket, that is vapour-permeable and air-permeable – yet completely windproof. This coating has an extra layer that adds durability and provides a pleasant, skin-friendly, non-stick surface - not much different from the feel of a fabric liner, but without the added weight, bulk and cost.
